Ian Penney leads Newfoundland and Labrador’s largest group of personal debt counsellors and insolvency and restructuring professionals. He and his team have been helping individuals and businesses in financial difficulty for almost 30 years. Richard (Rick) Cullen has been assisting Newfoundlanders and Labradorians with their personal financial problems since 1991 and has been a Licensed Insolvency Trustee since 1998. Rick joined Janes & Noseworthy in 2005 after accumulating fifteen years of experience in personal as well as corporate insolvency issues while working for a national accounting firm. Rick has been involved in various charitable organizations over the years – and is currently Treasurer of his family’s church. David Howe graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1989 with his Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) Degree and began his professional career with Noseworthy Chapman Chartered Accountants at that time. David obtained his professional designation as a Chartered Accountant in 1991 and as a Certified Management Accountant Designation in 1990. He obtained his Chartered Insolvency Practitioner designation and became a Licensed Insolvency Trustee in 1997. He was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Newfoundland in 2004 in recognition of his contribution to the profession. David’s primary areas of service include audit and assurance, taxation and business advisory services. He also has experience in Forensic Accounting and Ligitation Support services as well as commercial insolvency services.
