Richard Cullen has been helping Newfoundlanders and Labradorians navigate financial challenges for more than 35 years. 

A Licensed Insolvency Trustee since 1998, Richard joined Janes & Noseworthy in 2005 after 15 years with a national accounting firm, where he gained extensive experience in both personal and corporate insolvency.

For Richard, the most satisfying part of his work is watching individuals move from tears of fear to tears of relief — realizing that there is a pathway out of even the toughest financial situations. He believes strongly that “bad financial things can happen to good people,” and he’s proud to be part of a firm that focuses on compassion, fairness, and practical solutions.

Richard takes pride in helping people make informed, confident decisions about their finances. Many of his clients find comfort just from an honest, judgment-free conversation; sometimes all they need is a clear explanation, a few options, or even just a reassuring “pep talk” to get them headed in the right direction.
